The Garden Kitchen Sink completes your outdoor garden kitchen. Use with the preparation area and the grill to shape your own unique cooking place. The water is connected via standard outdoor fixtures. Potential for a built in drainage solution or direct drainage into a container is possible. Anti-corrosion protected frame and stainless steel sink. Work space in oiled and heat treated ash. Info: Thermo treated (or heat treated) wood is a solution which is beautiful, durable, functional and environmentally sound. It is free of chemicals, harmless to utilize and does not originate from endangered rainforests. Thermo treatment is a computer-controlled process of heating wood in a special kiln at a high temperature. In this process no chemicals are used. The heat treatment changes the cell structure of the wood – moisture, bacteria, and acids are driven out; wood lacking these is not conducive to the growth of fungus, rot and mildew, and it resists environmental effects significantly better than untreated wood. After test according to EN15083-1 for determination of the natural durability of solid wood against wood-destroying fungi, the tested thermo treated ash reaches the durability class 1. We have also applied two layers of oil to maximize durability.
